In 1983, Shogo Noshi opened a small sushi restaurant,
Noshi Sushi, with only 30 seats in Koreatown.
Japanese-owned restaurants in Koreatown were very unusual at that time.
His large portions, fresh fish, and authenticity soon spread by word of mouth.
Shogo Noshi’s 50 years of experience and cutting technique
quickly gained him loyal customers.
Just two months later, customers were already lining up
before the restaurant even opened.
In 1990, Noshi Sushi moved to its current location
to accommodate more than 100 seats.
Since then, our experienced sushi chefs have maintained
the traditional Japanese taste of sushi when making sushi.
In addition to basic sushi,
we also offer Spider Roll and the California Roll made with real crab,
in response to many customer requests.
Our original Spicy Tuna recipe
has been voted the best in Los Angeles.
Our homemade Tempura and Teriyaki dishes
are also highly popular.
Noshi Sushi has remained largely unchanged
and is committed to providing traditional Japanese cuisine.
In 2009, the head chefs Shogo had trained and worked with for over 15 years
took over operations, respecting his will.
We have added unique menu items
while maintaining the recipes and traditional preparation methods of Noshi Sushi.
Please enjoy our seasonal dishes,
along with our selections of sake and craft beer curated by our Certified Sake Sommelier.
It has been a great pleasure serving you over the years.
We look forward to welcoming you soon.
